Ruin - Azfure - Main character reveal - Star Road Chronicles

In this blog, I will finally reveal the main character in Star Road Chronicles. His name is Phearen, and this creature below is Ruin, one of the Star Road Chronicle's many antagonists (I have added way too many bad guys, but we don't talk about that). 

In the book, Phearen is unnaturally intelligent, for he has to outsmart godlike creatures such as Ruin and the arcane. While I am talking about the arcane and Ruin, I may as well talk about the Azfure. In most fantasy stories, there is some kind of abundance of monsters, and the Azfure are my version of the recurring enemies that humanity has to constantly fight. The Azfure themselves do get their own magic type called Azfure fracsure. 


Ruin
Quote from the book:

It walked toward him, but its movements weren’t natural. It twisted as it walked, morphing into new forms. It ripped out of itself as if its body were a cocoon and a butterfly at the same time. Its arms shifted and grew, then shrank. Arms spouted from its form, then faded. It was chaos, and mayhem forced into a physical body. 

Phearen ran, but it appeared in front of him, and it left a faint blur from its former position. It was faster than Caltan, and it kept vanishing and reappearing in blurs. This thing wasn’t natural. A grin formed on its face. It was plasma, and Phearen recalled this creature from his first interdimensional trip. 

It appeared right behind him, a clawed hand resting on his shoulder, “To answer your troubled mind, you may call me Ruin.”

Pool floaty guy - Zandrair - Star Road Chronicles

 Well, another day, another blog,  By Peap, Turtletower was out doing something, so this is just me today. No drawings, which is sad, but I'll give some juicy info and a teeny bit of LORE .
